Configuration tips when using SAS on Cruncher and X

SAS running under X can has some default settings that make it different (and to some, less convenient) than running SAS on Windows. Most users will want to reconfigure various preference/settings each time they start SAS or save such preferences if they plan to work with SAS on Cruncher often.
