Basic Wiki Markup

To get started, here are the basics in Wiki markup language. WikiMedia software (the same software that WikiPedia uses) supports some but not all HTML. Wiki language isn't hard either, just a bit different. (This page will be restored to it's original form, arbitrarily and unpredictably from time to time --Rhansen 17:03, 10 April 2006 (EDT))

To make a new page (after reading a bit below) ... type it's name enclosed in two brackets ex. 

 [[My test page]]  test geography page

Try it here, then save the page and click on your link to create it.

To upload a picture use the Upload file dialog in the toolbox to the left. Small picture please, thx

What you want to do: How to do it:
To create sections, do the the following in order.

(==)For a New Section
(===)For a New Subsection
(====)For a New Sub-Subsection
Don't go from two to four. A table of contents will automagically be generated.

NOTE: this format wasn't used on the left because it
would mess up the format of the table of contents.

To indent a line use a colon

To sign with just your user name use three tildes:

Or four for name, date and time
