Visibility to off-campus browsers/readers

It may be best at some point (after active participation with much of the campus community is establish) to require that folks log in, in order to view the pages of the wiki. It is currently open for the convenience of the wikizen, but there may be times when we prefer that discussions that concern our local campus community ... take place within the confines of our community only ... and not broadcast to the world instantly. A drawback to placing the 'whitelist' restriction on the wiki right now, it that doing so will discourage the (very) new user from exploring (because it adds just one more step to looking at a page). --Rhansen 14:56, 5 May 2006 (EDT)
