Software (including SPSS which incurs a $50/year charge) is requested via a web form at 

http://computing.binghamton.edu
  • Click on the Software page

(avoid clicking on the first Request Software link, which is just for POD (public computing facilities) software requests)

  • Click on the link in the paragraph discussing Software for your computer, "Site licensed and volume purchased..."
  • This will take you to 
http://computing.binghamton.edu/cgi/licsoft/request.pl
  • Then you can access

a page listing various SPSS products for your Computer platform and OS.

  • You'll likely want the SPSS Bundle which is quite comprehensive for most needs.

  • After noting some of the details about licensing and 'academic or research usage' ... at the bottom of the form there is a button to request software.
  • Then you fill a form that provides us with some details about your machine.
