What You See and What You Get on Bingwiki
This page will hold a simple 'quick start' help page that explains what folks see on the Main page. (Things like explanations of what each of the following are for:
- Navigation box (on the left containing 'Main Page', 'Recent Changes' ...)
- Search box on the left (and limitations and alternatives to search/go)
- Toolbox' (on the left ... out of the box these are all on the left, but see below...
- What's at the top ... 'preferences', 'My talk'
- How to find 'User pages', 'All pages', 'All categories' ... what's History, Watch, how to add images
- Where to get help with formatting
It's not even drafted yet because we anticipate potentially radical changes to the default skin.
For example see how Case Western's Wiki looks ... or UC Davis's ... (at Other Wikis) or skins like Colgneblue rather than Monobook.
