All posts, all changes to pages are public. Nothing is private (in one sense, i.e. when someone logs into the wiki and makes a contribution, the world knows what the contribution is). Even minor changes to pages are recorded as a timestamped revision to the page (which also includes the userid of who made the change).

On the other hand, searching and viewing information on the wiki is completely private. No record (of a person's identity) is kept of the visitors to the site. Only aggregate statistics of a page's popularity are kept (without analyzing where visitors to the site are coming from).
